#ReleasePhantomBlood2007 - A Campaign Proposal

Hey all!
I've been giving what I said in the last post some thought, regarding starting a social media campaign of sorts to try and get Shueisha's attention. Now, I'm coming to the realization that there is no better time than now to start getting things off the ground. The film's 20th anniversary is next year, and if we miss this opportunity, we'd have to wait another 5 years for another big milestone. Right now, it's only a hashtag; however, I'm workin
g with some people behind the scenes that could make this much bigger.
For now, use #ReleasePhantomBlood2007 (or anything in that vein) to express your interest, and get the ball rolling.
BUT KEEP IN MIND, AND I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, we still have just less than a year before the actual 20th anniversary. As such, this is going to be an at least year-long campaign. Yes, it's going to start small and slow. Yes, it's not gonna feel like it'll do much at first. But, we need to keep that flame lit, as it were. We can't just pour all of our effort into a single day or week and call it a day - we need to keep it going. Keep pushing it. That way, we can keep expanding our reach far beyond the JoJo circle, and, ideally, into Shueisha's line of sight.
ANOTHER THING TO KEEP IN MIND - THIS IS NOT A HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN! I know I keep talking about getting Shueisha's attention with this whole thing, but you can't just waltz up to Shueisha and say something like "gimme the movie or else". That'll not only look unprofessional, but also be ineffective. What we need is enough voices expressing interest in the film and a potential rerelease of it in order to, and I likely sound like a broken record at this point, get Shueisha's attention and have them do something about it.
I hope that makes sense. Yes, we need to "aim" at Shueisha, but we can't be mean or hurtful about it. I guess that's the simplest way to put it.
I have ideas for local promotion on my end, but obviously that pales in comparison to bringing this to an international, let alone global, audience. If you have ideas, I encourage you to follow through on them. Or if you're unsure, throw them my way and I can work with you.
I'll be using the banner below on my social pages, and I encourage anyone who is interested to do the same.
I believe that's all I have to say for now.
Stay positive my friends, and here's to finding the movie!
